This class will provide a detailed understanding of the structure and function of the Lymphatic System, a mapping of Lymphatic directional flow, and a hands on proficiency to assist Lymph flow for health and wellness. Guidelines will be provided for working on healthy and compromised Lymphatic systems as well as a list of contraindications.
Students will proficiency of the structure, function, and anatomy of the Lymphatic System
Students will show understanding of directional flows of Lymph
Students will show knowledge of factors outside of massage that effect the Lymphatic system.
Students will be able to perform a self assisted lymphatic massage
Students will be able to perform a hands on Lymphatic Massage
Students will demonstrate understanding of the contraindication of Lymphatic Massage and when to seek medical advise
Students will show knowledge of the signs and symptoms of an impaired Lymphatic System and how to modify the treatment for these conditions
