Beth Villante, BSN, LMT – Advanced Certification Instructor

Beth Villante RN, BSN, LMT
With over 24 years of experience in the field of massage therapy and integrative
healthcare, Beth Villante is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing the
well-being of individuals through compassionate touch and holistic healing
practices.
Having started her journey in massage therapy in 1999, Beth has accumulated a
wealth of knowledge and expertise in various specialized areas, including medical massage, hospice massage, oncology, and reflexology. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development has allowed her to stay at the forefront of her field, always seeking new ways to improve the quality of care she provides to her patients and clients in acute and home healthcare settings.
As a highly regarded educator, Beth has spent a significant portion of her career
sharing her wisdom and expertise with aspiring massage therapists. With a
passion for teaching, she has written and taught numerous courses and
workshops focused on medical massage, hospice care, and oncology massage and reflexology. Beth’s dynamic teaching style, combined with her practical experience and deep understanding of the human body, has empowered countless students to excel in their practices, making a meaningful difference in healthcare.
Currently, Beth practices integrative healthcare as a brain injury Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) at a premier rehabilitation hospital. In this role, she integrates her expertise in massage therapy and holistic healing modalities with evidence-based nursing care to support individuals on their journey to recovery from brain injuries. Beth’s unique perspective as both a massage therapist and a healthcare professional empowers her to provide comprehensive, non-pharmacological individualized care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of her patients.
Throughout Beth’s career, she has remained deeply committed to promoting the integration of massage therapy and complementary therapies into mainstream healthcare settings. Her dedication to advancing the field of integrative healthcare has earned her recognition and respect within the industry, and she continues to inspire others through her leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of her patients, clients and students.

Dr. Heather Lash, DC – Advanced Certification Instructor

Dr. Heather Lash, D.C. is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in the States of Pennsylvania and Florida. She grew up in Conshohocken, PA and after graduating from high school, went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Lash continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL, one of only 18 Chiropractic Colleges in the United States. In addition to her Chiropractic Degree, Dr. Lash earned certificates in Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping technique, Graston technique, Activator Methods, and studied several other manual techniques including Gua Sha and Trigger Point therapy. Following graduation from Palmer, Dr.  Lash obtained a Certification in Functional Diagnostic Medicine in an effort to better aid her patients in their nutritional needs.

Aaron Mittica, L.Ac., Dipl.,

Aaron Mittica is a licensed acupuncturist and chiropractic assistant. His strong roots in alternative medicine came about at a young age as the son of two local Lafayette Hill chiropractors. After graduating from Drew University with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology, he taught Chemistry and Physics for four years before turning to Acupuncture. He attended the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA, graduating in 2013. Arron has a strong belief that acupuncture is essential for bringing about balance for the body to promote healing. Along with Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, Aaron practices Five Element Acupuncture – A theory that follows the natural cycles of life and energy movement. Patients have deemed his practices “innovative” and “creative” through his integration of Western and Eastern medicines; combining both to treat the whole patient, not just the symptoms.

Pamela West, LMT, M.Ed. -Advanced Certification Instructor

Pamela West, M.Ed. maintains private practices as a body therapist in both Philadelphia, since 1983, and Doylestown, since 1997.  She earned a Masters in dance from Temple University.  Pamela is certified in Body Education and holds a certificate of Personal Enrichment in the Alexander Technique through The Alexander Foundation.  She has over thirty years’ experience in movement studies.  This background in movement supports her myofascial practice as she works with clients’ structural, movement and tensional patterns.  She has taught structural myofascial work at Lourdes Institute of Holistic Studies in Collingswood, New Jersey for over fifteen years.

Bradford Niccary, LMT, CYT

Bradford’s body/mind/spirit journey began in 1991 at Lititz World Tang Soo Do with Master Kifilo. As his disciplines developed, he began teaching weekly karate classes in 1996, and achieved the rank of E Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt). By 2001, he was serious about an Ashtanga Yoga practice. Expanding on his disciplines and anatomy knowledge, he graduated in 2004 from the Baltimore School of Massage. In 2007, he began training 5-Animal Style Kung Fu and Tai Chi with Sifu Nathan Groff, attaining the advanced Brown Sash level. By 2008, he was teaching weekly yoga classes in Lancaster, PA, leading to his 2012 completed training for “Floating Yoga” with one of the top touring/performing aerial dance groups in New York City and Rhode Island. In January 2014, he and his wife opened Float Yoga of Lancaster.

Shannon Haughey, LMT, CYI -Advanced Certification Instructor

Shannon received her training in Shiatsu at the prestigious Ohashi Institute in Chicago and New York. She studied directly with Wataru Ohashi, the founder of the Ohashi Institute, at a time when he was instrumental in introducing the west to this ancient art.Shannon also uses CranioSacral Therapy as a compliment to her work. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction. This technique was developed by John Upgleger, D.O. Shannon remains excited about her work and in addition to maintaining a private practice she has become an educator in the healing arts field and a Certified Yoga Instructor.

Sue Wood, LMT

Sue Wood is a PA licensed massage therapist and an AOBTA certified shiatsu practitioner. She is also a graduate of the shiatsu Instructor’s Training Program at the Meridian Shiatsu Institute in Wayne,  Pennsylvania. She has served in the Wellness industry as a teacher, department supervisor and advisory board member in massage programs in Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
